I have gotten some very nice feedback and comments about my blog and website from patients visiting for consultation.+�-� They come from different states and countries to Beverly Hills for consultation for a host of Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Procedures.+�-� The fact that they are coming to see us, is not new or unusual, because people have come for over 15 years….ever since I had a Plastic Surgery Practice in London as well as Beverly Hills.+�-� I created quite a stir and fuss in the UK media each time I went for surgery and consultations.+�-� I was an enigma.+�-� A Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon that told it like it was in an easy relaxed and informative manner.+�-� The brits ate it up and my competitors fumed.+�-� But I digress.

+�-�What is a bit surprising lately are the comments patients are making about me, my website and blog.+�-� They are amazed that I can be informative, write my own website and blog material, am caring and down to earth….why?…because I am a Beverly Hills Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon, was their answer.+�-� What?+�-� You think I am a TV character….like those portrayed by some Plastic Surgeons on TV?+�-� I am here to show you that not all Plastic Surgeons…not all Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeons are obtuse, borish, snobs that worry only about superficial things in their superficial lives.+�-� I am a father, husband, christian and yes, a Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeon.+�-� I pray for my patients.+�-� I have the same feelings and emotions that you do.+�-� Plastic Surgery is my job…it says what I do, not what I am.+�-� I am not a Characature…like some TV shows would have you believe.+�-� That may be their reality…but it certainly is not mine!

+�-�So, all of you out there that are looking for reality in Plastic Surgeons…consider another method of selecting your surgeon than TV Reality Shows….if you don’t want a characature.+�-� Websites of substance written to inform you are a good place to start…but only if they are written in the words of the Plastic Surgeon and not some marketing company hired to create a sale.+�-� I think the public needs people like me to stand up and tell you like it is…..otherwise how will you know what is truth and what is false when it comes to Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery….and you have the right to be a well-informed consumer.+�-�

Breast Augmentation seems to have this shroud of mystery despite ever more increasing press and publicity about the procedure.+�-� Breast Augmentation with Saline or Silicone Breast Implants can be a terrific Plastic Surgery Procedure, if you take the time with your Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon to do the proper planning before the surgery.+�-� For example, what size do you want your Breasts to be after the Breast Augmentation?+�-� Are you sure about your decision?+�-� Be sure!

+�-�Do you want the Breast Implant above or below the muscle?+�-� I suggest that patients place the Breast Implants below the muscle as this allows more options for you, as the patient, in the future.

+�-�Where should the incisions be placed?

+�-�I am getting a ton of requsts for Revision Rhinoplasty this summer.+�-� Let me say that Rhinoplasty is a very technically challenging Plastic Surgery.+�-� Be sure that you have the same aesthetic vision, for your nose, that the surgeon does…or there will be some issues after the surgery.+�-� It’s best to do+�-�a bit more consulting and traveling before the surgery than after for a Revision.+�-� Revision Rhinoplasties are more expensive and difficult to perform.+�-� I often need to use ear cartilage grafts to re-create a more natural, more attractive nose.

+�-�Breat Augmentation with Breast Implants also seems quite popular this summer.+�-� Here’s a good tip.+�-� Buy a bra that’s the size you want your breasts to be after the Breast Augmentation.+�-� Take a baggie and fill it with water, zip it close and fill up the larger bra.+�-� Wear it under your clothes and see how you like that size.+�-� This will give you some indication of the new Breast size that you really want.+�-�

I’m getting dozens of e-mails about Cheek Implants…removing and replacing.+�-� You do not need to have Cheek Implants that do not aesthetically enhance your face.+�-� Of course, it’s better to have the right shaped Cheek Implants placed from the beginning.+�-� Radiesse, lasts 2-5 years but is also a good alternative for people who have had multiple problems with Cheek Implants or who aren’t sure if they want Implants.+�-� Breast Augmentation and Rhinoplasty continue to be very popular procedures this summer.

+�-�OK…I have just received a copy of this month’s Woman’s Day Magazine where we did the makeovers for Reunion.com.+�-� Check out the before and after photos of some of the+�-�women that had Restylane to the lips and nasolabial folds, Botox and Microdermabrasion.+�-� I really like the Bella Microdermabrasion machine because it just so darn sturdy and precise with the treatment settings.+�-�

+�-�Breast Augmentation with Breast Implants and Rhinoplasty seem to be the hot Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Procedures this summer!+�-� As strange as it may sound….Plastic Surgery Procedures seem to come in groups and I’m never really certain which ones will be the most common for me to perform during any given month.+�-� This Summer, however, it’s very plain to see that Breast Augmentation and Rhinoplasty are the most common procedures…followed by The “Palmer Celebrity Lift” and Facial Implants (Cheek and Chin Implants).

+�-�We are getting between 200 and 300 e-mails daily at drfpalmer1@aol.com from people from around the world asking about different Plastic Surgery Procedures...sending pictures and asking fior my evaluation.+�-� Isn’t the internet and e-mail the best?
