 OK, I’ve been getting a ton of patients recently that are very interested in achieving facial symmetry as a way of becoming more attractive.  I have discussed this previously but let me be perfectly clear on this point.

 #1. The thing that makes you beautiful: are the number of ideally shaped facial features that you posess and the relative aesthetic importance of these ideal features.

 #2. You can have a very symmetric face without any aesthetic ideal features and you will not be beautiful.

 #3. Therefore, it’s more important to ask me to make your facial features more ideally shaped than perfectly symmetrical…..understand the difference?

Beverly Hills Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery will look completely different in the very near future!  Ever wonder what people might look like 50 years from now?  100 years?  Do you think that Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery will still be performed by cutting, sewing and filling in the tissues?  Really?  I am hired by think tanks to pull away the curtain and glimpse into the future in order to help develop new emerging technologies that will make people more attractive.  This has given me a whole new perspective about the future of Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery….Beverly Hills style.  Here’s an example of what might occur in the not-so distant future.

 That’s correct, the woman in my story is really over 100 years old but looks and feels 25.  Technology is at a point, in my story, that youth, beauty and longevity are simple matters to control.  Sound far fetched?  Well I here to tell you that it’s not…and it’s not too far off in the future.  So, hang on…the future will be an amazing technological ride and promises to more astounding that you could ever imagine!

 Beverly Hills Botox treatments are one of the most popular Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Procedures performed.  Last year, in the US alone, millions of Botox treatments were performed to soften lines and wrinlkles of the face and forehead.  Despite this increasing number of Botox treatments, Botox still seems to scare some people.  People still ask me how a Botulism toxin can be safe.  Answer, Botox is extremely safe and effective and is one of the most effective treatments that we do as Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeons.

 Beverly Hills just got a whole lot closer to the rest of the world.  New emerging video technology will alow us to offer real time video consults to patients all over the world.  This new dimension in consultation adds a personal touch…something the world has come to expect in the realm of Beverly Hills Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery.

 Currently, in our Beverly Hills office, we offer e-mail communications and phone consultations for patients from all over the wqorld. We receive hundreds of e-mails daily at drfpalmer1@aol.com from prospective patients from all around the world.  A natural progession, for our Beverly Hills Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Practice, was to offer the ability for prospective Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery patients to e-mail us pictures for our evaluation.  Adding the ability for a telephone consultation, to discuss, the photos that had been reviewed seemed a natural step towards adding specialized service to our prospective patients.  It turns out that this is extremely popular and is something that is quite frequently done.

Breast Augmentation is still extremely popular and seems to be the second most popular Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery in our Beverly Hills Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery practice this summer following Rhinoplasty http://www.drfpalmer.com/Rhinoplasty.html .  Seems that when the weather turns warm, women start contemplating the aesthetics of their Breasts and thoughts turn to Breast Augmentation and Breast Implants. 

Breast Augmentation is a Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Procedure designed to enhance and augment the breasts by using either a saline (salt water) or Silicone filled Breast Implant.  http://www.drfpalmer.com/BreastAugmentation.html  The procedure can be performed in about 1 1/2 hours with a recovery of a couple of weeks.  We usually recommend that The Breast Implants be placed blow the muscle for additional tissue coverage of the Breast Implants. 

 If you are under 35 and have never had a Mammogram, it’s not a bad idea to have one as a baseline prior to your Breast Augmentation because all Breast Implants make it more difficult to examine the breasts radiographically.  Silicone Breast Implants are available for women who meet certain clinical criteria and agree to participate in an ongoing clinical study done by the Breast Implant manufacturers.  Saline Breast Implants do not require such criteria.
