OK, I’ve been getting a ton of patients recently that are very interested in achieving facial symmetry as a way of becoming more attractive.  I have discussed this previously but let me be perfectly clear on this point.

 #1. The thing that makes you beautiful: are the number of ideally shaped facial features that you posess and the relative aesthetic importance of these ideal features.

 #2. You can have a very symmetric face without any aesthetic ideal features and you will not be beautiful.

 #3. Therefore, it’s more important to ask me to make your facial features more ideally shaped than perfectly symmetrical…..understand the difference?
