Beverly Hills Rhinoplasty an update by Beverly Hills Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon, Dr. Francis R Palmer, III:  I feel the need to update my notes and thoughts about Rhinoplasty to share this story with all of you.  Let me first preface this story with the hope and prayers that this never happens to you!

A lady called our office crying…sobing really.  It seems that we saw her some time ago for what I believed to be a rather complicated Revision Rhinoplasty.  As you know, I believe that Rhinoplasty is one, if not the, most technically difficult Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Procedures, bar none.  Anyway, this poor lady is crying and begging for us to see her.  It seems that she had her Rhinoplasty elsewhere with an outcome that made her very upset and wanted me to fix the problem.  My staff had to gently explain to her that I would not be able to see her for some months and after that time, she’d have to be to re-evaluated to see if I felt that I could even do another Rhinoplasty Surgery.  Remember, the rule is no more nasal surgery sooner than every 6 months…minimum, or the skin of the nose can sustain serious complications.  We all feel terrible for this poor woman and wish her well for the next several months.  Hopefully, I will be able to help her.

What’s the point of this story?  If it’s not obvious, I will explain.  Rhinoplasty is not unlike other Plastic and Cosmetiuc Surgery Procedures…you simply can’t just keep having them done until you happen to get it right.  In fact, sometimes you only get one….shot…..so be sure to take your time, do your research on finding your Plastic and cosmetic Surgeon and DO NOT USE PRICE AS YOUR DECIDING FACTOR…EVER!  If you can’t afford the best….simply do without.  The cost of several Revision Rhinoplasties will far exceed the cost of a well experienced competent Rhinoplasty Surgeon.  Enough said?

Beverly Hills Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Advances for the next 20 years or so by Beverly Hills Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon Dr. Francis R Palmer, III:

Ever wonder what Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery will be like 20 years from now?  As it is today, I’m quite certain that Beverly Hills will be at the forefront of beauty and the business of making people more attractive, I’m just not certain we’ll be doing the same “Nip and Tuck” that we do currently.  On the contrary, I believe that the future is more amazing than we can imagine and I predict that cutting, sewing and burning the skin will become obsolete and fall the way of the dinosaurs.

You’ll take a pill to prevent baldness, be able to have cheeks grown from your own bone and even be able to be taller…all without incisions or unsightly telltale scars.  Stay tuned for more glimpses into the “future of beuaty”.  I promise, it’ll be worth the wait!

“Beverly Hills Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery continues to go global” by Beverly Hills Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon, Dr. Francis R Palmer, III.

Beverly Hills has long been regarded as the mecca of Pplastic and Cosmetic Surgery and the home to some of the most beautiful people in the world.  This is a reputation justly deserved as Beverly Hills has some of the most famous Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeons working on some of the richest and most influential people in the world.  Hey, if it’s good enough for the celebs…can’t blame regular folk from flocking to Beverly Hills for their self-improving “Nip and Tucks”.

As a Beverly Hills Plastic and Coismetic Surgeon, for over 16 years, and having had an adittional practice in London…I have a unique perspective on the skill level of the Beverly Hills Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeons versus those from the UK, Italy and the rest of Europe.  Let me say this as tactfully as I can, because it’s not my intention to insult anyone.  I believe, that American in general and Beverly Hills Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeons, in particular, are the best trained and most aesthetically gifted in the world!  That’s why Beverly Hills Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeons continue to be featured in magazines and TV shows all around the world.

Such was the case today, when I was interviewed for a German magazine and national radio show showcasing Beverly Hills as the hub of Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery.  The interviewer asked me about my “Palmer Beauty Principles” and about the perception that beauty is becoming globalized.  I said “why should that surprise anyone?  Business, marketing, product branding and finaces are all being globalized, so why not our perception of what is beautiful?  Don’t they show the same movies all over the world?  Doesn’t the internet bring instantaneous images and information to an ever shrinking world.? We are a global society and that is unlikely to stop anytime soon.”

Botox Injections can improve the appearance of scars by Dr. Francis R Palmer, III:

Seems that Botox Injections have found another important use in Plastic and Cosmetic SurgeryBotox Injections have been found to improve the appearance of scars if used in small amounts where the Botox is Injected into the tissues surrounding the scar.  This makes sense.  Since  Botox Injections cause a weakening of the muscle…if Botox was injected into the tissues surrounding a cut that had been sutured, for 6 months, after the incident it would cause the muscles to relax and this in turn decreases the traction forces that typically act to pull the incison apart making wider, unsightly scars.  The trick is to use just the right amount of Botox, so the tissues relax but the face still functions properly.  Botox could be used in this manner for incisions and cuts all over the body, not just the face.
