Seems that Botox Injections have found another important use in Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery.  Botox Injections have been found to improve the appearance of scars if used in small amounts where the Botox is Injected into the tissues surrounding the scar.  This makes sense.  Since  Botox Injections cause a weakening of the muscle…if Botox was injected into the tissues surrounding a cut that had been sutured, for 6 months, after the incident it would cause the muscles to relax and this in turn decreases the traction forces that typically act to pull the incison apart making wider, unsightly scars.  The trick is to use just the right amount of Botox, so the tissues relax but the face still functions properly.  Botox could be used in this manner for incisions and cuts all over the body, not just the face.
