The tissues of your face hang by the cheeks.  This one feature above all others is responsible for whether your face looks female, male, young, old, attractive or less so.  Think about whta I just said and let in sink in…really sink in.  Do I have your attention yet?

So, the first question that should come to you is “are my cheeks making me look more attractive?”.  Why don’t you find out.  Go here to learn more: http://www.drfpalmer.com/CheekImplants.html

You’ll see that female cheeks have a different shape than male cheeks.

Recent advances in plastic surgery allow several options to improve the shape of your cheek.

    1. Cheek Augmentation with Cheek Implants as described in the link above.  I prefer silicone cheek implants and have done this procedure for almost 20 years.

    2. Radiesse Injections that can be done as an office visit.  This material lasts about 18 months and has the benefit of being customized to the exact shape desired.

Bottom line.  If you’re looking to make yourself more attractive, start by getting the ideal shaped cheeks…..this is the #1 most important facial beauty feature and well worth the time, money and effort.

Had several patients fly here to Beverly Hills from around the world and country this past week.  They interestingly enough had several things in common which I would like to share with you.  They all came for my “Celebrity Lift” what I consider to be the 21st century face lift.

    1. They all had aging signs of the face and neck.  They had relatively flat cheeks, with prominent nasolabial folds and extra skin of the jowls and neck.

    2. They all had full facelifts and necklift scheduled with other plastic surgeons and decided to fly to Beverly Hills for my “Celebrity Lift” instead.  http://www.drfpalmer.com/PalmerCelebrityLift.html

Watch this procedure as I present it on ABC’s talk show “The View”

Now I was especially happy that these patients truly understood my aesthetic vision in creating my “Celebrity Lift” which has the following advantages (in my opinion) over more conventional facelifts and necklift procedures.

The benefits of my “Celebrity Lift” Versus a traditional Face and Neck Lift:

    1. The “Celebrity Lift” is less invasive.

    2. The Incisions are minimal ~ 1/5 the size of a traditional facelift.

    3. The “Celebrity Lift still tightens the underlying muscle layer but has a smaller area of dissection which results in virtually no bruising or swelling.  This means there is almost no recovery time.  A traditional facelift requires weeks of recovery…sometimes months.

    4. The “Celebrity Lift” addresses the shape of the cheeks which is 75% of what makes a face appear feminine, masculine, young, old, attractive or less so…where this area is typically ignored completely by more traditional facelifts.

    5. The “Celebrity Lift” can be performed without anesthesia using novacaine like injections allowing the patient to avoid the risks associated with general anesthesia which is required by traditional facelifts and necklifts.

    6. There are no drains or heavy dressings required after a “Celebrity Lift” where most traditional facelifts use both drains and large compression dressings.

Tally up all these reasons and you’ll see why people are opting for the “Celebrity Lift”…..I forgot to mention that you can travel by airplane much sooner (as early as 4 days later) versus 7-10 days after a traditional facelift procedure.  I guess people are listening to me on this blog and elsewhere because the word is out about how great the “Celebrity Lift” is and what it can do….  make you look 10 years younger in 90 minutes or less without anesthesia.  How cool is that?

Beverly Hills Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery “Tip of the day” from Dr. Francis R Palmer, III, Beverly Hills Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon.

It’s been a very busy week of out of town and out of country patients that I performed Cheek Augmentation with Cheek Implants, Chin Augmentation with Implants and Rhinoplasty (both primary Rhinoplasty and revision Rhinoplasty).  Several men had Cheek Augmentation…they were loking for a more angular, ruggedly handsome appearance and that’s just what the right shape of Cheek Implant will give.  The women, on the other hand, were looking for a soft, more rounded, youthful and feminine look which I acheive with a Cheek Implant of a different width.

More TV pitches today.  Ashton’s recording tonight.  Busy.  Busy.

Seems like it’s the summer for :

    1. The “Celebrity Lift” …which continues to be a huge favorite among patients who want to look 10 years younger  in 90 minutes or less without anethesia.

    2. Rhinoplasty remains a common procedure here in our Beverly Hills practice with it running about 50/50 between primary (first time ) Rhinoplasty and Revision Rhinoplasty.  Did a couple of very complicated Revision Rhinoplasties this week with ear grafts, dorsal grafts, breaking the nasal bones, removing lots of scar tissue…oh my!

    3. Facial Implants using Cheek Implants and Chin Implants.  This is augmented with Radiesse injections to the angle of the mandible (for men) to give that angular, flared jaw look that’s so ruggedly masculine.

This is what my summer has looked like so far and after checking the OR schedule for the next few months…it looks like these will continue to be the hot procedures for some time to come.

As a side note…I have more pitches for the TV Plastic Surgery show and am meeting with people regarding my book “What’s Your Number”.

Beverly Hills Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery “Tip of the Day” from Dr. Francis R. Palmer, III, Beverly Hills Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon voted “One of the World’s Best” by the international press.

    1. Pitched the TV show yesterday…think it went well.  have more pitches in the coming few weeks to other networks…stay tuned.

    2. Seeing more Rhinoplasty and revision Rhinoplasty cases this summer than in years past.  Hope my blog entries and answers are helping my readers.

I recently ran across an article (don’t recall where) that mentioned some 80% or more of adults who had undergone plastic and cosmetic surgery wish they had done more research ahead of time.  I find this sad.  My goal is that everyone receive the plastic and cosmetic surgery information that they need to assess their aesthetics and the plastic surgery procedure that would improve their appearance.  I hope that’s what you, as my reader, get from my blog and my websote.
