Beverly Hills Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery “Tip of the Day” from Beverly Hills Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon and Creator of the “What’s Your Number” concept, Dr. Francis R. Palmer, III.

Radiesse Injections this week to enhance the shape of the Cheeks and make the face more youthful, soft and feminine….the patients looked 5 years younger in 10 minutes all with a simple office procedure. Radiesse Injections can be used to shape the nose (Rhinoplasty), Chin (Chin Augmentation), Cheek (Cheek Augmentation), Jawline. Great stuff. Last about 18 months after which the effects dissipate and the radiesse Injections need to be repeated.

Back from holiday and ready to move some of my projects forward. Also consulted with patients today and once again I’m reminded that in Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery it’s all about the aesthetics of beauty. No matter the training, reputation or skill of the Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon….the sense of beauty aesthetics has to be there or the results will be dissapointing at best….and horrific at worst. I don’t care if you have to drive, fly or crawl…find your way to a plastic and cosmetic surgeon with a keen eye for the aesthetics of beauty before you have any plastic and cosmetic surgery here in Beverly Hills or where ever.

What are the aesthetics of beauty, you ask? They are the concepts listed in my “Palmer Beauty Principles” and the cornerstone of my “What’s Your Number” concept. Read more here:

Rhinoplasty post op care:  I’ve continued to receive many posts regarding post Rhinoplasty swelling and care.  Here are some basic tips to remember if you’re considering a Rhinoplasty.

    1.  Your nose will swell and swell unevenly for at least 3-4 months and will not stop swelling differently from day to day for 6-12 months.  hence, the need, in my opinion, for daily nasal manipulations.

    2. You MUST avoid physical contact to your nose for the first few months after your Rhinoplasty.  Nasal bones are typically set at 1 month but cartilage can crack and break if your nose is hit with sufficient force.

    3. If you have concerns, questions or suffer a hit to your nose….be sure to see the plastic and cosmetic surgeon that did your Rhinoplasty.  Thoings happen, you don’t need to be ashamed that you had an accident BUT it’s better to avoid one in the first place.

I’m going back to my family and my vacation.  Peace and happiness to all.
