Radiesse Injections this week to enhance the shape of the Cheeks and make the face more youthful, soft and feminine….the patients looked 5 years younger in 10 minutes all with a simple office procedure. Radiesse Injections can be used to shape the nose (Rhinoplasty), Chin (Chin Augmentation), Cheek (Cheek Augmentation), Jawline. Great stuff. Last about 18 months after which the effects dissipate and the radiesse Injections need to be repeated.

  1. Good Morning Dr. Palmer,

I am writing you to see if you currently do hair transplants in your practice? I am a 26 year old male who has been dealing with thinning hair and hair loss since I was 17 years of age. Would you recommend someone of my age even having hair transplantation? Also, I am not sure how up to date you are with new research being done with the use of stem cells to battle hair loss but if you are, when do you think these new treatments or procedures might be available to plastic surgeons such as yourself? Would you recommend someone like myself just waiting for these new techniques to hopefully come to fruition? I’m just wondering because me being a young guy, I obviously would like as much hair as possible someday since I never got to enjoy my earlier years of ridicule by my peers who all had great heads of hair. Thank you very much for your response on this matter and I look forward to hearing more from you regarding this topic. Have a wonderful day, Dr. Palmer.

  3. Hey Jay,

Yes, we do hair transplants. I am aware of the research using cloning and stem cells for hair follicles most of which is being done in the UK. Currently the take rate of these follicles during implantaion in the scalp is around 50% versus 90% of your own hair during transplants so there’s more work to be done before that’s a viable aternative to using your own hair. I believe that these issues will be overcome in the near future and you may want to wait and see what transpires over the next few years in the field of hair restoration.
