Quick fixes that plump up the lips or fill in those unwanted lines and wrinkles…Restylane, radiesse, Botox are all good alternatives. Here ’s a link for more info on restylane http://www.restylaneusa.com/TV/TVad.html

Please clear this up for me…I have been reading several articles about using Radiesse for lip enhancement and find totally opposite recommdations…even from your own website. Under your Lip Augmentation website, on page 3, you say Sulptra and Radiesse are available, but these have not been recommended for Lip Augmentation,Enhancement,or Enlargement. Then under this Tip of the Day page (mid-morning August 7, 2007), you say Restylane,Radiesse, and Botox are all good alternatives for quick fixes to plump up the lips. Which is it? Do you recommend using Radiesse for the lips or not?

Nancy,
Here’s the exact section you mentioned under Lip Augmentation from my website.
Sculptra® and Radiesse® are mentioned so that you are aware that they are available but these have not been recommended for Lip Augmentation, Enhancement or Enlargement.
They have not been recommended for Lip Augmentation. Hope this clears up any confusion. I do however recommend Alloderm and Restylane for Lip Augmentation.
