Much has and continues to be written about Aesthetic Medicine which I call the Business of making people more attractive. This includes Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery treatments and procedures: Rhinoplasty, Face Lifts, Neck Lifts, Brow Lifts, Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty), Cheek Implants, Chin Implant, Lip Augmentation, Hair Transplants, Breast Implants for Augmentation/Enhancement, Tummy Tucks, Liposuction, Buttock/Arm/Back/Thigh Lifts, Botox, Dysport, Restylane, Juvederm, Perlane, Radiesse and IPL treatments. All are designed to do specific things to create aesthetic improvements and within each treatment or procedure is an endless variation of how it is performed.

You, as an informed consumer must determine what it is that you’d like to improve. What would you like to look better? Your eyes, face, neck, lips, nose, breasts? After that is decided, what would you like that area to look like? Your lips more full, your nose thinner with a more shapely tip, your face with less jowls while appearring more naturally youthful, your breast fuller and more shapely?

There are many decisions to be made before you have an aesthetic treatment or surgery and I encourage you to become as much of an aesthetic expert as possible so that you can recognize sound aesthetic advice from that which is flawed. Why? Because, in my opinion, after performing Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery for 20 years, the number one complication is the lack of aesthethic judgement of the patient and the surgeon. This is the main reason that people are unhappy after their treatments or procedures….in many cases what was chosen as the way to make that person more attrcative, was doomed to fail from the outset because the treatment or procedure was incapable of creating the proper aesthetic change to make that person more attractive.

How can that happen? Very easilly I’m afraid….we as plastic and cosmetic surgeons are not taught the aesthetics of beauty. We are taught procdures and surgeries that do things but we all do them slightly differently and in different situations, so there’s a great deal of variability despite what anyone else tells you. For example, a patient 25 years old wants cheek implants to make her more feminine. Some surgeons would suggest fillers and place the filler in different areas to shape the face differently. Some would look good, some ok and some would make the face appear odd and mis-shapen. I have seen this when patients have a second consult with me after having fillers elsewhere. Other surgeons may use any one of hundreds of sizes and shapes of cheek implants that will have similar effects. I use and have used 2-3 sizes of 2 thicknesses and have for over 15 years. Why? Because I don’t believe the other many sizes and shapes make the face more attractive…which at the end of the day is the goal!

For each treatment and surgery this can and does occur. You must understnad what does and does not make your face and body more attractive…which is why I’ve written a book on the subject. The culmination of 20 years work, over 4 years in the writing. What’s Your Numberthe palmer code shows you, the consumer what you need to know about the beauty aesthetics of your face and body. You can use this book as your beauty source and guide as you make decisions about when and if your ready for plastic and cosmetic surgery. The celebrities that look their best understand these principles and seek the very best plastic and cosmetic surgeons who embrace and understand these concepts…

OK, I know this sounds obvious but you have to admit that there are plenty of plastic surgery disasters and articles with photos that have shown people including celebrities that had plastic & cosmetic surgery procedures and look worse after the fact…not better. Their Numbers went down and in some cases way…way down.

So, what’s the deal…you ask. Simple, in my 20 years experience as a Beverly Hills Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon, I have learned to identify the most aesthetically important features of the face and body.

This is not taught to medical students or plastic & cosmetic surgeons in training as counter-intuitive as that sounds. They learn how to perform surgeries like: Face Lifts, Mini Face lifts, neck lifts, Brow Lifts, Eyelid surgery, Blepharoplasty, Rhinoplasty, Cheek Implants, Chin Implant, Lip Augmentation, Hair Transplants, Breast Augmentation with Implants, Tummy Tuck, Liposuction, Botox Injections, Restylane Injections, Juvederm Injections, Evolence Injectios, Perlane Injections, Radiesse Injections, IPL, chemical peels or laser treatments. What constitues beauty may be as foreign to the dermatologist, facial plastic surgeon, cosmetic surgeon or plastic surgeon as martian would be to you. True fact.

You have some plastic & cosmetic surgery or procedure to look more attractive…right? Why is it that this does not always happen? They don’t (both patient and surgeon) know the secrets to the Number System and the palmer code….you need to be the one in charge of your appearance, your life…and Your Number.

My new book “What’s Your Number…the plamer code” is written so that you may understand the most important aesthetic elements, of the face and body, when it comes to your appearance. Then, once you digest that information the book takes you on a journey to personal transformation by allowing you to analyze all aspects of your life both inside and out. Whether you’re interested in a breast augmentation or in the best way to style your hair so you are more attractive…the information is all here in my new book. I figured out what beauty is and how to create in for my plastic and cosmetic surgery patients for 2 decades and now my trade secrets are available to all.

I recently had a patient fly in from out of the country and during her consultation she told me “I want to be a 100 out of 100.” Now, she was referring to her number and 100 is perfect. I spent the rest of the consult showing where her face and body deviated form a score of 100 and the various ways that she could approach that coveted 100. At the very least, My book offers a reliable set of references that we can can all use to communicate our wants, needs and desires. How much more precise was our conversation using my Number System that in the old days when patients would say…”I hate my nose….or My face is sagging…or I’d like larger, fuller breasts.” Now weall can speak the same language….What’s Your Number….and what would you like it to be? Read the book and find out.

Representing over 18 years of work and research and 18 months to write, my new book is finally here. My experience as a Beverly Hills Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon and how I discovered the secret to being beautiful inside and out the book is available at Amazon.com and soon will be available on Kindle 2 and in a book store near you.

Featured on ABC’s new hit reality show “True Beauty”, I used the Palmer Code to give the show’s 10 contestants their Face Numbers.

What’s Your Number…the palmer code is a book about personal transformations using the power that’s locked inside each and everyone of us once you learn the secrets. Celebrities, the rich, powerful and famous know how to improve themselves, so why shouldn’t you? If you are interested in plastic surgery like Eyelid surgery, Face Lifts, Brow Lifts, Rhinoplasty, Cheek Implants, Chin Implants, Lip Enhancement, Lip Augmentation, Blepharoplasty, Eyelifts, Breast Augmentation, Breast Implants, Lasers, Chemical peels, Mini Lifts, Botox Injections, Tummy Tucks, Liposuction, Restylane, Perlane, Radiesse, Juvederm plus and Evolence, skin care, Rogaine, propecia, haircuts, haircolor, makeup, choosing the right clothes, doing the right exercises or improving your relationships at home, work and spiritual…this book is a must read.

So the only question remaining is…what’s your number and what would you like it to be?

I’ve been writing more subject specific posts on the advice of the SEO company.  It seems the search engines don’t care about my feelings or take on things but want content rich and specific posts.  I did want to take a few minutes to catch up with my readers.

 1. I have a book agent and am working on a formal book proposal to garner a sale of my book.  the manuscript is already written but will need extensive edits.  No big deal…you will love this book.

2. I continue to be involved with VC companies and help develop emerging new aesthetic technologies in the plastic surgery and cosmetic medical field.  I love this work which allows me to look into the future for the next big thing.

3. Ashton’s happy in her second year at USC…my son, Evan will apply next year and hopefully he’ll be at USC as well.

Everything else is great.  I just completed an italian tuscan style painting 4 X 6 feet in acrylics.  I haven’t done a painting in almost 10 years, so this was a pleasure.  My wife, Robyn has it proudly displayed in our home.

The embers glowed softly, and in their dim light,
I gazed round the room and I cherished the sight.
My wife was asleep, her head on my chest,
My daughter beside me, angelic in rest.

Outside the snow fell, a blanket of white,
Transforming the yard to a winter delight.
The sparkling lights in the tree I believe,
Completed the magic that was Christmas Eve.

My eyelids were heavy, my breathing was deep,
Secure and surrounded by love I would sleep.
In perfect contentment, or so it would seem,
So I slumbered, perhaps I started to dream.
The sound wasn’t loud, and it wasn’t too near,
But I opened my eyes when it tickled my ear.
Perhaps just a cough, I didn’t quite know,
Then the sure sound of footsteps outside in the snow.

My soul gave a tremble, I struggled to hear,
And I crept to the door just to see who was near.
Standing out in the cold and the dark of the night,
A lone figure stood, his face weary and tight.
A soldier, I puzzled, some twenty years old,
Perhaps a Marine, huddled here in the cold.
Alone in the dark, he looked up and smiled,
Standing watch over me, and my wife and my child.

‘What are you doing?’ I asked without fear,
‘Come in this moment, it’s freezing out here!
Put down your pack, brush the snow from your sleeve,
You should be at home on a cold Christmas Eve!’
For barely a moment I saw his eyes shift,
Away from the cold and the snow blown in drifts..
To the window that danced with a warm fire’s light
Then he sighed and he said ‘Its really all right,
I’m out here by choice. I’m here every night.’
‘It’s my duty to stand at the front of the line,
That separates you from the darkest of times.
No one had to ask or beg or implore me,
I’m proud to stand here like my fathers before me.
My Gramps died at ‘ Pearl on a day in December,’
Then he sighed, ‘That’s a Christmas ‘Gram always remembers.’
My dad stood his watch in the jungles of ‘ Nam ‘,
And now it is my turn and so, here I am.
I’ve not seen my own son in more than a while,
But my wife sends me pictures, he’s sure got her smile.
Then he bent and he carefully pulled from his bag,
The red, white, and blue… an American flag.
I can live through the cold and the being alone,
Away from my family, my house and my home.

I can stand at my post through the rain and the sleet,
I can sleep in a foxhole with little to eat.
I can carry the weight of killing another,
Or lay down my life with my sister and brother..

Who stand at the front against any and all,
To ensure for all time that this flag will not fall.’
‘So go back inside,’ he said, ‘harbor no fright,
Your family is waiting and I’ll be all right.’

‘But isn’t there something I can do, at the least,
‘Give you money,’ I asked, ‘or prepare you a feast?
It seems all too little for all that you’ve done,
For being away from your wife and your son.’

Then his eye welled a tear that held no regret,
‘Just tell us you love us, and never forget.
To fight for our rights back at home while we’re gone,
To stand your own watch, no matter how long.

For when we come home, either standing or dead,
To know you remember we fought and we bled.
Is payment enough, and with that we will trust,
That we mattered to you as you mattered to us.’
PLEASE, Would you do me the kind favor of sending this to as many people as you can? Christmas will
be coming soon and some credit is due to our U.S. service men and women for our being able to
celebrate these festivities. Let’s try in this small way to pay a tiny bit of what we owe. Make
people stop and think of our heroes, living and dead, who sacrificed themselves for us.

Skincare, what’s it all about. I recall several years back when I first tackled the problem of formulating effective skincare products, there seemed to be a maze of misinformation out there in the industry.

The other day I ran across the following series of questions that I was asked by a wholesale agent who was considering our products. I think it’s great reading for anyone interested in skincare products.

Dr. Francis R Palmer, III

Dr. Palmer has said that his Cosmeceutical skincare line of products called Francis R Beverly Hills ® www.FRBH.com will revolutionize the way people think about beauty. Why?

Because the Perfect Skin System makes sense out of something previously believed to be complicated. Using highly effective products, like our FRBH products (see below what makes them highly effective) in a common sense manner (The Perfect Skin System) works…your skin will be more attractive.

Why should I change from my current skin care products to FRBH?
FRBH really works.

Put your current creams away for 4 weeks and try FRBH. Within 2 weeks your friends, family and loved ones will see a difference in your skin. FRBH brings you highly effective skin care products that are formulated for results.

When you say FRBH products are result driven, explain more?

FRBH was developed by Dr Francis R Palmer, III a world renowned Beverly Hills Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon for 1 purpose….to create beautiful skin for his upscale clients. Dr. Palmer spent months testing different formulations until he came up with a line of cosmeceutical skin care products that really worked….. products that made his patients skin more beautiful, smooth, and firm. Products good enough to carry his name on each and every label.

What are the specific results people can expect from FRBH skincare products?
• Skin appears firm with appearance of tighter skin
• Decrease in appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
• Improve tone and texture
• Improve pigment irregularities
In some patients within 2 weeks although individual results may vary.

What % of your patients is currently using FRBH?

Almost all of our patients use FRBH…in fact that’s how it all got started. Dr. Palmer was asked to be the medical director for a minimally invasive clinic using the latest sound, light, laser and radiofrequency technology. Although he did not take the position, during his research into the very latest cutting edge technology for beauty enhancement, Dr. Palmer began searching for skin care ingredients that would firm and tighten the skin while decreasing the appearance of lines and wrinkles. After months of testing hundreds of different formulas…Dr. Palmer had several that he thought would really work. His patients gladly bought the products and gave back rave reviews…”I’ve tried everything but nothing works as well as FRBH products” was a comment that Dr. palmer heard over and over along with “You have to sell these creams everywhere to everyone” was another. After months of hearing rave review after rave review from patients using the skin care products, Dr. Palmer decided to bring FRBH to the public… FRBH products were featured on Dr. Phil’s mother day TV special as one of the must have gifts for Mothers Day.

What % of FRBH customers reorder?

Over 80%…in fact spouses and significant others will frequently steal the creams and start using them themselves.

What are the Ingredients? What makes your products more effective than others products.

I encourage everyone to visit the website http://www.FRBH.com ….the ingredients are listed there. Bottom line…we use high quality ingredients in the right amount and that’s why the products are so effective. There are no secrets in skin care. Effective products use good ingredients…that’s why they’re effective. You can find other products but you’ll not find other products that are more effective, with a proven program that’s easy to follow.

Beverly Hills Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery “Tip of the Day” from Beverly Hills Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon Dr. Francis R Palmer, III creator of the “What’s Your Number” system.

I was invited to go on the Janice Dickinson Show and evaluate the face numbers of her female models.  Fun time…this is such great information that I’m happy to share it with my readers and her viewers.  It’s the basis of my new book.  You can read more here: http://www.whatsyournumber.net

My 19 year old daughter, Ashton went on the show with me as my assistant and was 10 times more attractive than any of the models I reviewed. Just a proud father talking, perhaps but Ashton is beautiful and I should know…I wrote the book on what’s beautiful!

Beverly Hills Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery “Tip of the Day” from Beverly Hills Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon, Dr. Francis R. Palmer, III…creator of the “What’s Your Number” system.

Back from holiday and ready to move some of my projects forward. Also consulted with patients today and once again I’m reminded that in Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery it’s all about the aesthetics of beauty. No matter the training, reputation or skill of the Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon….the sense of beauty aesthetics has to be there or the results will be dissapointing at best….and horrific at worst. I don’t care if you have to drive, fly or crawl…find your way to a plastic and cosmetic surgeon with a keen eye for the aesthetics of beauty before you have any plastic and cosmetic surgery here in Beverly Hills or where ever.

What are the aesthetics of beauty, you ask? They are the concepts listed in my “Palmer Beauty Principles” and the cornerstone of my “What’s Your Number” concept. Read more here:
