Did a Celebrity Lift with Geometric Neck Lift on a major celebrity this morning.+�-� So much extra skin that I spent 10 minutes on one side of an incision making sure the closure looked perfect….I thought to myself “That’s my career in a nutshell….it’s all in the details.+�-� The details to get the aesthetics right for each individual (what’s going to make them more attractive), formulate a plan using various Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Procedures and treatments and then meticulously carry out those Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Procedures and/or treatments…sometimes down to a fraction of a millimeter of skin removal to make the incision perfect.”+�-�

I have always said that a gifted Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon must have the following characteristics:

1. The eyes of an artist… you must be able to regocnize and re-create beauty…it’s what we do.

2. The hands of an angel…you must be able to gently and deftly handle tissues of the human body.

3. The heart of a lion…you must have the courage to do what needs to be done no matter the pressure…no matter what.

I never said the job of a Beverly Hills Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon was easy…just exciting.

+�-�It’s always gratifying to receive accolades from colleagues in your field.+�-� here’s an e-mail sent to me from a Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon in Europe that I thought I’d share with you.+�-� It highlights what I’ve said on my blog over and over.+�-� The US in general and Beverly Hills particularly have the highest trained Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeons in the world…bar none.+�-�

I found a courage to write you this short email,+�-�after I found out on web that you belong to the top ten plastic aesthetic surgeons and I would love to have+�-�really professional advice+�-�for my issue.+�-�

I am+�-�a plastic surgeon, in present opening my own private practice in Austria. Originally I come from Slovakia, but I did my training abroad.+�-� I would like to ask you for a kindness. I would like to ask you for your oppinion(as you are+�-�very experienced professional) what are the best books as for a facial plastic surgery, it means, for facelift, browlift-foreheadlift, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty(also as for Asiats), facial implants(included chin surgery), etc.+�-� plus also as for any books for body procedures(breasts, lipo, thigh-buttock lift, etc), and finally as for chemical peeling, botox, mesotherapy or other typical procedures+�-�for+�-�aging skin.

Please, it is very important to me, as my colleagues say completely different books and to decide about which ones, as there are very expensive, I do not want to buy ones which are not worth it. As I appreciate your oppinion, I would be more than pleased by your professional advice.+�-� I know you are very busy, but please, I will be very grateful if you find any time for me to reply.+�-� I wish you the very best at work and also in your private life.+�-� Once again, thank you very much.

A very nice note.+�-� I told this Plastic Surgeon that training and experience makes a Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon…not the books he/she reads.+�-� Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon is learned and honed, as a skill, by doing….it’s not a spectator sport…not something that can be learned by reading alone.+�-� You have to do Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery procedures to learn them…and do them over and over and over many, many times.

+�-�+�-� I Have several topics to discuss today:

1. The Celebrity Lift is more popular than ever and why not.+�-� Under a local anesthesia in less than 90 minutes, you can look 10 years younger with no recovery, small incisions and dissoveable stitches.+�-� I know this sounds too good to be true but it’s like all great things…it’s simple and uncomplicated.+�-� Aren’t those the things that work the best?+�-� Of course they are and my Celebrity Lift certainly fits that bill.+�-�

+�-�+�-� I have been quite amused at the outpouring of acceptance for this procedure…it seems that once people come in for a consult or have an e-mail consult over the net and find out that we aren’t kidding about this procedure…they typically book their surgery date right on the spot.+�-� It’s almost like they’re afraid I’ll wake up and change my mind about the procedure.+�-� I won’t.+�-� It’s a great procedure.+�-� I created it because I believed it would do just what everyone wanted it to do.+�-� Make them better looking with limited surgery and downtime.+�-�

+�-�Working on a couple of difficult cases of Cheek Augmentation with Cheek Implants other than Silastic material which frequently present significant problems when attempting to remove and replace them.+�-� I’m now getting those patients to undergo a 3-D scan of their face and head will literally allows me to see the face 1 layer at a time.+�-� This allows for more accurate assessment of where the implant is and whether it has completely been absorbed by the cheek tissues…in which case there is nothing to remove.

+�-�The Celebrity Lift seems to be the most popular procedure as the weather warms an thougts go to weddings, class and family reunions.+�-� Seems lots of people want to look 10 years younger in 90 minutes or less and the Celebrity Lift is just the ticket.

The Courage of it all by Beverly Hills Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon Dr. Francis R Palmer, III.+�-� Did you ever stop and think about the courage involved in some professions?+�-� Policemen and women risk being shot and killed each and every day….Firemen and women risk injury and death from fire….the very thing that would terrify most of us, they have to bravely battle and how about our servicemen and women who face our enemies in war and police actions each time they are deployed.+�-�

+�-�As I conclude a particular tough and challenging week…one that took some measure of courage for me to do what I felt was the right thing to do as a Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon…I have to remember that as tough as my profession can be at times, there are ones that are far more challenging…ones that require far more courage than mine and it is to all those brave men and women that I dedicate this blog entry.+�-� Thanks for your courage and your service and God Bless us all.
