Cheek Augmentation for a fresh new you!
around lunchtime of January 8th, 2008OK, seems like I’m know as the “Cheek Guy”….the one you see when your face is not the way you’d like. At least, that’s what we’ve been told is the word in the entertainment and social community. That’s OK…I guess I can live with that title. I do say that the face hangs by the cheeks and that they are the number one most importnat beauty feature of the face…and yes, I do allot of Cheek Augmentation using Cheek Implants and Radiesse…so if the name fits…wear it. Celebrities have know this for years, so why not get the same star treatment for your face?

Happy New Year!
Dr. Francis R Palmer, III

Dear Dr. Palmer,
I had a face-lift, SOOF lift, temporal lift, neck lift, and cheek implants on September 14, 2007. When I smile my cheeks are puckered and appear overly large. I had a lot of swelling for a long time and the puckering is a new development. What could be the cause?

Patty,
5 months after the procedure…not sure. Could still be residual swelling from the SOOF lift which is done in the deeper tissues. The Cheek Implants should be the size thay are going to be at this time…puckering here may mean the cheek implants are not seated flat along the cheek bone…or there is still some swelling around the deep tissues. You should ask the plastic surgeon that did your facelift and cheek implants.
