FDA lifts ban on Silicone Breast Implants
around lunchtime of November 20th, 2006The FDA has lifted the 14 year ban on Silicone Breast Implants. Women, 22 years old and older may now have Silicone Breast Implants without having to meet the rather strict criterea set up for the ongoing clinical studies that were previously required by the FDA. This is welcome news and opens up some very useful resources for women seeking Breast Enhancement with Breast Implants. Will this speed up the FDA approval of more types of Silicone Breast Implants? One can only hope.
