Must be Rhinoplasty season!

around lunchtime of April 28th, 2006

Seeing lots of consults for Rhinoplasty (nasal surgery) in our Beverly Hills office.  Seems people are looking to change and improve the shape of their nose and many travel from other parts of California, other states and distant countries to have their Rhinoplasty with us in Beverly Hills.  If you are interested in seeing what nasal refinement surgery would do to improve your appearance, I suggest that you visit our website and review my Palmer Beauty Principles that define beauty….and in this case demystify the impact that the nose has on overall facial beauty.

In my opinion, the nose, does not greatly contribute to facial beauty but does have the power to distract away from more aesthetically important features.  In other words, a perfect nose alone will not make you attractive.  Conversely, a nose that is too large, crooked or in some other way attracts attention to itself…will make you appear less attractive.  I often say that “the nose needs to be unobserved, get out of the way…so that the cheeks, eyes and lips are the focus of attention on the face.”

If the nose is distracting…. Rhinoplasty or nasal refinement surgery may be the answer.  In my opinion, Rhinoplasty is one of the most difficult Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery Procedures to perform and requires great technical skill, impeccable aesthetic judgement (know what beauty is and how to create it) as well as experience performing the many types of Rhinoplasty Surgery.  After some 16 years of performing all sorts of Rhinoplasties, I have a logical, straightforward approach to Rhinoplasty and to the quantum level more difficult Revision Rhinoplasty cases.  We get photos and patients from all over the world asking for Revision Rhinoplasty here in our Beverly Hills Surgery Center….and I can tell you that these are really…really touch cases..but we do them and do a great job.
