Having said that, there will inevitably be those individuals that wish to thwart the sings of aging sooner rather than later. As one might logically expect, this wondrous process can be modified to do more or less-thereby requiring more or less time for recovery. Dr. Palmer developed this procedure as a modification of his revolutionary Facial Contour® facelift-for people in the entertainment industry that were seeking to reverse the signs of aging at the earliest possible point. Similar to the Facial Contour® facelift, the "Custom Minimized" lift strives to contour the face, thereby creating a more natural and youthful appearance. The procedure is completely customized for the specific aesthetic needs of each individual. This means that the recovery time needed is variable. In some cases, the patient may return to normal activity in as little as several days. After surgery, the patients may return home under the care of a responsible adult-but need not necessarily attend an after care facility.
